A clients site has just been audited by an SEO company and they recommend redirecting http//:mysite.com to http//:www.mysite.com.

In my htacess I have written:
```
RewriteRule ^http://mysite.com http://www.mystie.com [R=301,L]
```
but this does not work.

Does anyone know the best way to do this?

Thanks!

```
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^DOMAINNAME.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://www.DOMAINNAME.com/$1 [R=301,L]
```
