    I think it would be nice if we could add github gists in blogposts.

    General Syntax: [gist]{URL}[/gist]
    Result: <script src="{URL}.js"> </script>


    For obvious reasons I would strip away everything from the embedded url except the id at the end of the of the gist url and then insert a modified version of the original script tag in the blogpost.

    I see the following benefits:
    * Versioning - Snippets can evolve
    * Bookmarking - You can like/watch a snippet with your own github count
    * Collaboration - You can fork it, adding it to your own snippet list for future use
    * Awesomeness - How about a HUGE AWESOME LIST of usefull snippets IN ONE place, that can be improved over time?
