On one of my sites, someone moved a resource from its original location to a different one, no doubt just dragging it from one place to another. There are lots of editors, and we were trying to find out which one made the change. I looked in the log, and this change wasn't tracked at all, nor did VersionX capture the change. Since data WAS actually changed (the menuindex), this really should get logged.
Anyone else encounter this? Any solutions?

dragging and dropping does not get logged for some reason and I have encountered times when I have needed to know who moved what but as you say its not logged.
Version x doesn't log it as its not a physical change to a template / tv etc, but I would expect modx to log it as there must be some sort of change in the database.
As far as I am aware MODX will only log something that requires a "click" on the save button, for example if you clear the cache that's not logged as you haven't actually triggered a save.
But it IS a physical change. The menuindex value of the resource gets changed. So, that's different from clearing the cache, which doesn't save any data to the database. I suspect VersionX is somehow tied to the MODX log, or is triggered by the same thing that triggers the log.
