I'm having a little difficulty understanding real world applications of template variables, but one thing I'm looking to do is to include something in the HTML head of a page, depending on requirements. For example, I need to use jQuery and a plugin on one page, but it seems like a waste to create a new template for a few extra lines.
Would I use a template variable (such as a checkbox) to conditionally include jQuery?
Please include sample code if you can.
