I think that for a website with hundreds or thousands documents the resources tab will be quite difficult to navigate. So my idea is to create html widget with the content which is displayed in pages with next and prev buttons.
My opinion is that will be quite easy with getResources but is there a way to insert a search option in that widget so the users could search for resources without the need to navigate to the 10th or 20th page?
Is there a nice way to add a filter with dropdown menu of the main parents (level 0) in the tree?
There is a way with modExt, but there's already a search filter for the Resource tree.
It's always a good practice to use the default functionality but I am afraid what will happened when many documents are created - the tree will make the dashboard with very high height.
By default the tree is expanded.
Is there a way the tree to stay collapsed and show only containers?
The tree is supposed to stay the way it was when you last used it, though I don't think it always works.
