Faster way to sort Template Variables?

Is there a quicker way to sort the template variables in the way you want them to appear?

I’m finding it very tiresome to go into each one, and change the sort order.

I do remember there was a snippet/plug-in which used Ajax to sort Template Variables, but I can’t remember what it was.

There is a drag/drop sorting tool in the template edit page clicking on "assigned template variables" tag.
