Hi there,

I'm looking for add-on which can create such a "tredny ribbon" with brand-new points/news/section etc.
It can be seen there: http://www.reptilesplus.co.uk/

    Any idea?

    Thank you a lot,

    Peter

      they are using this script:
      http://www.reptilesplus.co.uk/Scripts/twitmarquee.js

then just build the html-markup for the list with something like getResources

Hello again, and I did my best, but there is a conflict between jquery: jquery.min.js (for twitmarquee.js) and jquery-1.7.2.min.js for slideshow manager:

If I turn off "query-1.7.2.min.js" - the rolling text is alive, but the slideshow manager is dead.
Is there any human solution or should i gave it up?

          Thank you.

you should include jquery only once (I would use the newer version) and it needs to be included before the other scripts, which are working with jquery.

I'm not against to use ONE (newest) jquery library, I've tried all of them but - rolling text works with 1.5.2 down ... sliding manager works with 1.7.1 up ... (I seperated rolling text from web and tested on local, so I'm quite sure).

If I mount jquery 1.7.1 to the website, rolling text is passive.

Jquery.noConflict doesn't work, and I don't know how to reprogramme module twitmarquee.js to be working with new / newest jquery...

              A question:
Can I generate "rolling text" somewhere aside from the default template and that result will display to the DIV anywhere on the web?

              Peter.

Thank you for the link a your patience!:-)
I didn't know about this solution.

                  I'm going to test it.

                  Thank you again.

                    SOLUTION - $.noConflict(true);

Hi folks, especially Bruno17 (I do appreciate your attitude!).
I came back to previous idea with using twitmarquee.js . The point is there is no difference which kind of jquery is loading first, finally this sequence WORKS!:

then /slideshow manager needs jquery 1.7.1./

then /rotating sliding text using twitmarquee.js needs jquery 1.3.0/

If someone is interested in, I can put html&css in this forum.

Have a great time, all of you.

                    Peter
