m4v wont upload

Hi folks,

I've a small issue in MODX Revolution 2.2.4-pl that I can't get to the bottom of. I can't upload m4v file via the upload manager. The file in particular is below the default Maximum upload size of 10MB. Uploadable File Types and Uploadable Media Types both list m4v and I've tried to add it to the allowedFileTypes mv4 to my Media Sources - Filesystem and Uploads - just in case.

The destination folders in question are /assets/uploads/videos /assets/uploads/images and /assets/uploads/files. However, I notice that in the System Settings it says something like "Here you can enter a list of file types that can be uploaded to assets/media" etc when you click the green plus icon. While I think that this is just generic text I'm also clutching at straws.

Just to be safe change the upload_max size system setting in MODX to something larger than 10MB

Other things to try, change the max upload file size limit in your php.ini or htaccess

The web server itself can also be limiting the size of uploads.

Besides the PHP limits, sohosin/mod_security can also be limiting uploads.
