I've been compiling a list of Revo bugs, mostly affecting IE that prevent me using my default/preferred browser for Modx management. Yeah, I know, IE is terrible. Well in reality it's not nearly as bad you'd like to think, and some attention needs paying to Modx's IE compatibility, for the sake of not only developers like me who still prefer it, but also for clients to whom I'm delivering Modx sites who may not want to be told they must switch browsers in order to manage their new website.

So here's my list so far. I'd appreciate if people would test these issues out and corroborate my findings before I actually start reporting them on github. In this case I'm using IE11, and resorting to prior standards modes (IE9/10) to workaround some of these bugs.

    1. IE11 + IE10 mode: Form customisation, created profile, 'Create New Set' popup appears off the top of the screen.
      IE9 mode solves it.
Also affects 'Quick Create TV' - but *not* 'Quick Create Chunk'

    2. Revo: File browser driven by media source doesn't always show content of initial target folder. 'Files', or the currently selected folder on the left-hand folder tree needs to be clicked sometimes to reveal anything.

    3. TinyMCE: In IE11 it seems the View HTML popup doesn't actually show you any code. IE10 mode sorts it out.

    4. TinyMCE: The styles dropdown seems to fail to apply changes.

    5. TinyMCE: 'Edit style' button produces the popup but appears not to actually set the styles.

    6. Revo: Custom categories are listed inside every root Element node even when empty. For example, I have no chunks in one of my categories, yet the empty category folder is listed under Chunks.

    7. IE?: After creating a directory using the modx browser, the popup doesn’t disappear, and the folder list doesn't refresh to show the new one.

    8. IE?: Quick update a weblink, switch to Files tab, drag and drop file into weblink box to get URL, 'save and close'. Edit a second weblink repeating previous steps and the drag and drop will fail to land and right-click functionality in the manager is broken till refresh.

I know it's a lot to ask, but these would have a much better chance of being fixed if they were each reported as a separate bug at http://bugs.modx.com.

They all sound report-worthy to me, and bugs reported just in the Forums tend to slip through the cracks.

It's not so much to ask. But as I tried to make clear in my opening paragraph, I was hoping I might get some help confirming that they are bugs, and not just isolated incidents, before officially reporting them and wasting dev time.

Perhaps I've missed the point, and bugs reported on github are then investigated, but I doubt that process would engage as many willing testers.

Also, when you say 'bugs.modx.com' I presume you mean github, the replacement. The former is no longer used at all, right?

Right. I should have written https://github.com/modxcms.
