I'm using MODX Revo 2.2.1
Hi Modxers!
I've got a bit of a problem… whenever I try to save a chunk or a snippet, the "Please Wait - Saving..." confirmation pop-up only appears for a split second, and it doesn't save anything in the DB either.
It's not the mod_secure setting 'cause I'm not getting any error messages of any kind.
If I go in the DB and make the changes there directly in the DB using phpMyAdmin or Sequel Pro, everything's saving fine. But if I try to save via the manager, no luck. The weird thing is that the site is pulling all the proper data from the DB, and I'm having no issues in saving Resources, so I don't know why for the modx_site_htmlsnippets table it won't let me save from the manager. Could it be a a Database User Permissions issue or something?
I don't know what's going on or where to start looking.
Could someone lead me in the right direction?
Thanks a bunch!

MODX truly is the greatest thing that's ever happened to the Internet.
It can't be a database permissions issue if you can save resources.
Do you have any plugins connected to OnBeforeChunkSave and OnBeforeSnippetSave (CacheMaster or something similar?).
Are there any Context Access ACL entries or Element Category Access ACL entries that could be affecting things?

If the popup shows up for only a split second, there might be a validation error. Check your TVs to see if any of them has a red highlight indicating they are required or have an invalid value set.

I've checked and that's not it. Also, I'm only having this issue with chunks and snippets. I can save Resources without any problems, so I doubt that TVs would be the issue.
Thanks for your input though!

You can try checking the site_snippets and site_htmlsnippets tables in the database to see if they are corrupted and need to be repaired.
