Babel multilingual website + multi-domain

Hello.

I successfully set up a Babel multilingual website with the 'gateway' plugin for context switching.

I'm exploring solutions to set up multi-domain website working fine with babel.

I noticed context switching for multi domains can be set up a different levels and methods :

- With extra 'gatewayManager' (http://rtfm.modx.com/extras/revo/gatewaymanager)
- With index.php editing (http://www.h-quadrat.com/techblog/111-modx-revolution-multi-domain-context-installation-english.php)
- by modifying the gateway plugin designed for Babel

I don't know exactly the best solution, ideally a all-in-one gateway for multi-domain and language switching -- I guess it would be logical to do this in that order: 1/ multi-domain 2/language.

Any ideas?

If you have more than one domain and want to make all of them manage with single manager than you should be try this :

I have already used both Babel and Gateway manager
Babel for the multi language site and
Gateway manager for more than one site manage from single manager.

I use it currently but some things seems to me curious:

- The 'Startpage' dropdown list to select the domain startpage (Manage your gateway domains > Create new gateway) display only web context documents even if the right context is selected in the 'context' dropdown list (I have to write the page title in the field, then autocomplete suggestions appear).

- modX context switching with the gatewayManager works fine and and domains are properly redirected to their context/pages. However it works only for the document defined as 'startpage' : If i try to display other document, the start document still on display in browser...

Since I removed gatewayManager extra and installed ContextRouter (http://modx.com/extras/package/contextrouter) context switching works fine.

I don't know exactly how Babel will work with ContextRouter because I'm working on the French part of the website. I'll do some tests next...
