A how to for this scenario

Hi all,

I wonder if you would be so kind as to help me with this set up.

I would like to present a differing .pdf download for a member based on his/her login.

All the users would be set-up via the Manager.

They would get the details of the login etc emailed to them - then they would go-to the site and login via the front end and then be redirected to ’their’ pdf download.

Therefore could someone please list the plugins/snippets and manager setup that you would think would get me going on this please.

I thought weblogin pe would be the way BUT i am not sure how to/best practice get each user who signs up/or added by admin to get their own pdf which will be unique for each.

By this I mean does weblogin pe create a webuser folder on the system where I could place the pdf? How would it handle this as each user directory/file would be unique. Would it mean changing the snippet parameters by hand everytime someone signs or is signed up?

I am just trying to make this as easy as possible of the end user admin who will be managing the site.

well I don’t know if webloginPE can create uniqe page/folder ID for each new user. I like it because of the profile that you can edit/add custom fields etc. maybe ask that features in webloginPE post.

don’t know how many users we’re talking about and how automatic you want it to be; but if you don’t need much you can do it all from Security>Web Users>[user_name>User and put the page ID in the Login Home Page field.

maybe the others will have a better ideas
