    I'm attempting to create a new CMP to manage podcasts for my client, and I've gotten through the install process with no issue. It's the next step that is creating a problem.

    I attempt to go to Components > MIGX and then to the Package Manager Tab to create a new Package. I give my package a name (Podcasts) and hit "Create Package". At this point, it pauses for a moment and then gives me a browser alert popup that reads simply "success". And nothing happens. This is still the case after uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing my browser and MODX caches, making sure to go to the Setup/Upgrade tab and hitting setup (which coincidentally shows the same "success" alert, and does nothing).

    My error log in MODX shows the following error:

    [2014-02-11 13:54:24] (ERROR @ /modx/assets/components/migx/connector.php) Error 42S02 executing statement:
    Array
    (
        [0] => 42S02
        [1] => 1146
        [2] => Table 'ctackett_modx.modx_migx_configs' doesn't exist
    )

    Upon seeing this error, I also went into System > Actions and made sure that the appropriate action was created (it was) and placed in the Top menu (this was also done).

    At this point, I am unsure where to go now. This functionality is a make-it or break-it deal. If I can't get it to work, I'll have to switch to another CMF, and I really don't want to do that.

    For reference, I am using MODX 2.2.10 and MIGX 2.2.6.

      Did you create the core MIGx tables?

        Yes, I did:

        making sure to go to the Setup/Upgrade tab and hitting setup (which coincidentally shows the same "success" alert, and does nothing).

        No dice. I can't get it to do anything.

          its good practice to name packages lowercase 'podcasts'

          Is there no directory created under core/components/ with name 'podcasts' after hitting
          'Create Package'?

          and... just ignore the 'success' - message, it does allways return 'success' here.

          Any chance, I can have a look into your manager?

            Thanks for the tip on best practice - duly noted smiley

            It did indeed create the directory, but nothing appeared below the button (which is a standard UI trope in MODX) so I assumed that nothing was happening. I am going to continue to configure now; sorry for any confusion!
