I am using the Login plugin to register uses and handle restricted access pages. This works for the most part.

But I am having an issue where users will be blocked if they go to some pages. This happens very randomly - I cant track it down to a specific area. I only have one Resource Group and all the Resources and Users are assigned to it.

The only thing I can think of its that possibly the user isnt being allocated to the user group properly on registration.

    My registration code is:

    [[!Register?
        &submitVar=`registerbtn`
        &activationResourceId=`34`
        &activationEmailTpl=`lgnActivateEmailTpl`
        &activationEmailSubject=`Thanks for Registering!`
        &submittedResourceId=`32`
        &usergroups=`2`
        &validate=`nospam:blank,
        username:required:minLength=^6^,
        password:required:minLength=^6^,
        password_confirm:password_confirm=^password^,
        fullname:required,
        email:required:email`
        &placeholderPrefix=`reg.`
    ]]

    This looks correct to me.

Would anyone know why this could be occuring? Its really getting me stuck on my project.

    Many thanks in advance

Could this be a www.domain.com vs domain.com issue?

Is the server load-balanced? And are sessions properly configured? I think @sottwell's probably got the most likely culprit...

Some years ago when distributed or "cloud" servers were just being introduced, poorly configured servers were losing the sessions as page requests were being served from different physical servers. This has mostly been solved, but it may still be playing a part in your case.

Im not entirely sure what you mean but it could be. The site is installed in a sub-dicrectory, eg mystie.com/newsite

FURLS are not set up yet though

If someone is logged in to domain.com, then for some reason tries to go to www.domain.com/page.html he is not logged in to the subdomain www.domain.com.
