getRelated woes

For some reason, my getRelated snippet is not working on every page that uses it, even though the pages all use the same template. Even some pages that have nearly identical related pages within the same resource folder aren't returning any related documents... Scanning my error log I found this error recurring on the pages that use this snippet: "Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation 'like'" -- seems like a clue... But how would i go about troubleshooting this? Thanks for any insight.

Check your MODX System Settings for 'modx_charset', then make sure that your database is using the same charset and collation.
