Need to use ditto snippet in footer

Hello,

I am pretty new to MODx so this may be a simple fix, but I can't seem to figure it out. In the website I'm building, there is a footer that contains a section called "Latest News". There is an existing "News" page that I would like to feed into the Latest News section and I was told I need to use a ditto snippet. I have used ditto snippets a few times before, but am not sure exactly how to accomplish what I need. I'm using Evo 1.0.8. Any advice appreciated!

In your footer, simply put the Ditto snippet where you want the list to show.
