    I am trying to install Quip and I get the errors listed below.

    NB:- I used quip in a previous website which I am now rebuilding. I plan to export data from the old quip_thread and quip _comments table to the new database.

    Please advice. Error messages below:-

      As the last line shows, you successfully installed the package.

      The errors simply say the fields it is trying to add during the installation process already exist. That's nothing to worry about. It's a way for addon developers to handle changes in the tables on upgrade (so if you were running an older version, and the addon added a new database table field, the script would add those).

        There are a number of packages that throw a lot of errors however, and it is concerning when some errors are important and others are not. I would love to see more careful attention paid to the installation messaging to avoid this type of confusion.
