    Hi,

    I'm new to the forum but i've been looking extensively and can't find an answer to my question.

    I'm trying to import a Wordpress feed onto the homepage of a clients website, they wanted to keep their current Wordpress blog but build a new site in modx around that a custom system that they use.

    I've pulled the feed from Wordpress via RSS and i can display it on the site using getFeed, however for some reason I am unable to pull in the Authors name.

    When i open the page without any template file the parameter (or key) used for Author is [creator], it looks from the feed as though it is hidden beneath another key [dc] and i can't work out for the life of me why i can't pull in just the creator name.

    [dc] => Array
            (
                [creator] => Author Name
            )

    Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thanks
    Charles

        Hi howvard, I solved this problem by small getFeed patch: https://github.com/splittingred/getFeed/pull/18

          Hi Jiri,

          That looks perfect.

          I actually wrote a custom script to pull the relevant fields straight from the database. I think I had to find the post and then link to the users table to access their name. Not quite quick as using getFeed but it worked for that project which had a relatively short deadline.

          The getFeed patch is defiantly something I will use in the future!

          Thanks!
