apartment website

Hi,
I found this site while i was researching what cms is this is using and i saw that site is using MODX. My idea is to make apartment site like that in link but am worried about how hard is to make site for apartments like that with MODX? I already have expirience with wordpress and joomla and some simple html nothing else. If i decide to make with MODX apartments site (for ppl to publish their apartments) would i need to hire someone to make me custom addons or i can download all addons from this site?

It could be done with no custom coding. A resource for each apartment, with TVs, and getResources or pdoResources to display the listings. There are a number of add-ons to allow registered users to create and edit their own content, such as NewsPublisher.
