I’m experiencing some problems using the Manager - and just checking my host they have upgraded PHP from 4.4.7 to PHP version 5.2.5 - not sure what the below error means - can anyone help me before my client goes crazy. It’s not letting me save any changes to pages.
This is the error message;
Warning: fopen(../assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/themagi/public_html/manager/processors/cache_sync.class.processor.php on line 215
Cannot open file (../assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php)
Also Apache has been upgraded from 1.3.39 to 1.3.41 (Unix)
Below are the settings when originally installed.
...................................
Web Server:
* PHP version - 4.4.7
* Apache - 1.3.39 (Unix)
* Operating System and version - Linux - Kernel version 2.6.9-55.0.9.ELsmp
Database:
* MySQL version - 4.1.22-standard
* List of any tables over 1MB in size
MODx:
* Version - modx-0.9.6.1
* Any changes you’ve made - none
* Any snippets you’re running on the page that is not working properly - none
* Any plugins you’re running - none
Browser/Client:
* Browser name and version - Firefox 2.0011
* Operating System and version - XP Home SP2
Very strange - seems the PHP upgrade altered the write permissions on these files;
/assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php
/assets/cache/sitePublishing.idx.php
changed them back and problem solved!
Phew
