    hey guys!

    just dug myself through the forum to find out whats wrong. based on the post

    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,4673.0.html

    it must be pretty easy. but it doesn’t work at all. i still got no class options in the drop down menu embarrassed

    -my css file is in the folder css in the assets folder and is called base.css
    -i tried many different ways like "/assets/css/base.css" or "assets/css/base.css", i even tried the full path. but no success.
    -when i switch to the advanced theme nothing happens. the only change is that all the buttons are underneath the content window instead of being on top

    content editor theme:

    advanced theme:

    can anyone help me solve this problem?

    thanks a lot

      In the Manager:

      Tools->Configuration->Interface & Features
      Scroll down to TinyMCE settings and place your path to your CSS file. Be warned that styles don’t always work as expected as styles on containers around the content can be style oddly. This has to do with Tiny and not MODx though.

      Cheers,

        thanks jay for your response.

        but like i said before, i already did that and that exactly is my problem. it did not work. no options show up in the class drop down menu even if i got the right path to the css file in the Tools>Configurations>Interface & Features>TinyMCE settings>path to your css file textfield.

          Okay, Sorry I misunderstood your question. The styles field I beleive have to be defined in the CSS selectors field for them to show up. I am not 100% certain as to the formatting as I haven’t personally tried it. I would also look at the tinyMCE website for more information: http://wiki.moxiecode.com/index.php/TinyMCE:Index I believe the information you want relates to Advanced Styles.

          All the best,
