Stared Product Reviews in Quip?

I am trying to use LexRating and Quip to create a rating system for a product. It isn't product specific but more of a general "all our products" review page. Sadly, the star ratings do not show up next to each comment/review and the count of reviews isn't increasing, it is just stuck at 2. I looked into CSS Star Rating but there is no real documentation about use with Quip and I am very lost.

Has anyone implemented this before and have a better idea of how to go about adding this feature? Thanks!
