this is the first time I’m using Modx (and my first time on the forum as well) and i need some help setting the initial site to work.
I have created a customized error page and also I set in the "tools"-"configuration"-"site" the error page’s number in the correct field in this page.
Also I’ve made sure that the document is published. However when someone types a non existing page he does not receive my customized page but the IE normal 404 page.
any ideas?

Have you cleared both the site and browser cache?
It’s one of the most common issues.
