Hi,
Back again! The registration process seems to work now and I can protect pages with the pagelocker addon. I had the inheritResourceGroup addon installed and noticed there was an update which I attempted to install but got an error saying it couldn't find the manifest, got the same error attempting to install the 'Subscribe' addon. Went into the site again today cleared cache, removed locks, etc, deleted files from cache, then went in and tried removing the packages. I now seem to have the transport file from InheritResourceGroup still there, but more oddly the transport package for subscribe has been removed but the subscribe 1.2.1=pl folder is there and there's a file in it called manifest.php. Any ideas how I ought to set about remedying this?
This is in Revo 2.2.10.

Something went wrong in the repository, and the package zip names aren't matching the actual unzipped directory names. For example, you might have mypackage-1.0.0-pl1.transport.zip, but when unzipped the directory is named mypackage-1.0.0-pl (no 1), and of course the package manager is all confused, since it's trying to install a package with the same name as the zipped transport package.
If you remove the package, again, it's looking at the name of the transport.zip file, and since the unzipped directory is different, it won't get deleted.
Hi,
I see there's a directory that's called inheritresourcegroup-2.0-beta2 (missing a '.0'' from the zip file).
Not sure why the 'Subscribe' extra didn't install, but having removed the transport package if I attempt to download it now it says the package can't be found.
Will it be alright to remove the inheritresourcegroup-2.0.0-beta2 transport package and the subscribe 1.2.1-pl directory through the file tab in the manager?
Thanks
Allan

If you rename rename the unzipped directory to match the name of the transport zip file and they'll install just fine.
Since they were never installed, you can delete them manually without any problems.
