    Hello,
I cannot assign a value to a TV although it is possible to assign a default value when creating it. But there is no use through template edit. I looked into mysql and found that there were no records in modx_site_tmplvar_contentvalues table. Snippets, chunks, TV defination everythings goes through fine. Any suggestions? Thank you.

There is/was an issue and a thread somewhere.
If I remember a work-round is to use the quick edit feature:
either from the front end whilst still logged in as a manager’
or within the preview window inside the manager’
this then saves the edited values to the DB

I just can’t remember what caused it.
I upgraded/changed something on the one site I had that was affected and it worked O.K.
What version of MODx are you using and are you on a Windows server?

          David

The last version, 9.6.1.0rc1. Apache WAMP. It runs on XP.
I’m woundering how to build a public host on this apache. I’ve heard it’s not secure. Could you suggest a solution? I don’t want to hang around with IIS
