I was not banned but I do encountered problem using this forum with Safari 3 (Leapord). It occurs few times that I couldn’t see preview or can’t click second time on the ’post’ button when I did the preview; two other times I remember I couldn’t post or reply at all. When this happens, I just refresh the page and try again, but it doesn’t always work, I think one time I actually went back to RSS feed, click on the post that I wanted to response.

Safari 3 is not fully baked. Expect problems with many web applications that use both sessions and Javascript--especially DOM JS and Ajax. Based on the Webkit group’s progress vs Apple’s integration in its releases you may be a while with a partially problematic browser.

I have been recommending to clients to downgrade or use Firefox until Safari stablizes.

It chews. It seems as though Apple has pulled a Microsoft here and released an app that doesn’t work and called it fine.

              Have fun,

I apologise in advance but as a long suffering Windows user I’m heartened to see Apple may be following the Bill Gates strategy of "release ready or not"!

I’ve been using Safari 3 since it was released in Leopard and have not experienced any issues with this forum, even on the back end admin functions that 99.9% of folks here don’t get to see.

Perhaps the performance is affected system (OS) wide? Safari is the least problem I have after upgraded to Leopard, I like to use it because it’s light weight and loads very fast; I use both Safari and Camino for major web surfing. Opera (not the 9.5 beta) loads slower too. I have a major problem with Apple Mail, sometimes I compose a new message (I use this as quick text editor actually so do click on ’new message’ a lot everyday), and decided no to finish it, when I try to save then close, it freezes. It’s been happening everyday; another big problem was that one of the email account couldn’t receive and send email, but the setting was correct and no timeout (I did a test on Thunderbird, everything works fine); then affected second account, the third, the forth until finally I couldn’t take it, removed all, recreated them, the problem went away, but came back again few days later. I removed all accounts and recreated them again. It seems working so far.

Other software such as Transmit, Sumatran (a free text editor), Adobe Indesign have problem too, but the worse is a Xerox network printer PPD doesn’t work properly, it doesn’t recognize 2 trays that only accept heavy paper.
