It totally depends on the platform on how NC works, and just using NC isn’t going to solve the problem in most cases. This has been discussed before; see http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,6774.0.html for other discussions on the same issue.

Right, the fix seems to only be for older versions as i cant find the code in my parser file...

            Apache version 1.3.39 (Unix)
            PHP version 5.2.5
            MySQL version 4.1.22-standard
            Architecture i686
            Operating system Linux

i have used uppercase chars in my alias and im using alias name for friendly urls.. im Not using a suffix im just having my urls like this .

            mysite.com/home
            mysite.com/about
            mysite.com/contact
            mysite.com/history

            etc

but i still cant get it to work sad

Remove the NC, this forces all the URI’s to be lowercased before being sent to MODx. Currently, there is no real way to do this without hacking the core or writing a plugin. Providing multiple URL access points to the same file is not a typical desired outcome and is bad for page ranks in Google. You might be better off writing custom rewrite rules to 301 requests to the mixed-case URLs to lowercase ones.
