Strange problem with Encoding of cyrillic im manager. It looks fint in TVs list, it's ok in DB. But if I try do edit some MIGx values it encodes wrong.
Any ideas? Thx
Check the encoding of the DB, the tables, and the fields inside the tables in PhpMyAdmin through cPanel. I've had sites where some extras created new tables that didn't use the same encoding as the DB.
If you find a mismatch, see this:

SiteCheck will test the encoding of everything in the DB for you (along with a lot of other stuff), but it won't fix it.

I have the same problem, I have transferred cyrillic-based website to new server and everything is displaying fine except the migx manager field descriptions. Its displayed in windows-1251 in manager although its encoded in UTF-8. TV's themselves encode values correctly - new elements are displayed correctly on website, just field names and description are displayed wrong.
I have checked database, all tables have a utf8_general_ci collation, checked all templates in core/components/migx/templates/mgr, all models and controllers, all seem to be "UTF-8 without BOM" encoded.
Bob's tool seem to be great, but its seem to be little too much for such a small problem, maybe someone have an advice what to look for next?
