Afraid there is little constant that I can report re: the consistency of when this occurs... it seems very random! It always occurs when I try and save a resource that is in existence - e.g. when I update it.

Once I get the Access denied prompt, it is global, I can't save any updates to ANY resource - not just the original one when I see the first access denied prompt...

I was wondering if it could be connected in someway to that resource being viewed in the front end at the same time creating the issue? e.g. you cant make amends to this because someone is looking at it? I am the only content editor so it's not a permissions clash in the manager...

      It really does puzzle me...

Only way to resolve is to log out and back in... then seems to work again?

        Very strange.......

Maybe some of the following things will help?

Did you've tried to disable all plugins, empty the cache, and save a resource after each plugin enabled?
Did you did a MODX upgrade? If you have the latest version you could update to the same version?
Did you created a new user and checked the sudo checkbox for testing?

I've not tried disabling the plugins no - I only have, ArchivistFurl, ArticlesPlugin, GalleryCustomTV, QuipResourceCleaner and TinyMCE installed

I have emptied cache yes - still occasionaly get the access deinied bug...

I am running the latest build v 2.2.10 pl (traditional)

I am the only manager user

Jason Coward thought it might be something connected to the use of the Gallery component which I have running on the site?

Guys, I seem to have found some consistency with this bug - It appears the first time I login to the manager each day I have this issue... I am not sure if its also related to the fact that I also have the front end of the site open in another tab. I will test that and report back also...

Try to add the following line of code inside the start of the function outputContent.
              $SERVER['HTTPMODAUTH'] = $this->modx->user->getUserToken($this->modx->context->get('key'));

              File: core/model/modx/modconnectorresponse.class.php

Did you rerun the setup? Maybe that will fix your problem.
I don't have a clue on how to fix this.

What will re-running setup do? This site is about to launch for a client - I dont want to mess anything up...
