Gallery or Cliche does not work

Hi MODXers,

I need you help as I cannot make work any gallery management extras. I guess it's something related to the server setup because neither Gallery or Cliche are working.

Both Gallery (v 1.5.2) and Cliche (v 1.1.0) installations go smoothly without warnings.
When accessing the Component menu i get the following pop-up window:

syntax error:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at [email protected] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Server error log shows the following:

Don't know how to check the mentioned 'suexec' log.

my setup:
MODX 2.2.10-pl traditional
PHP 5.3.27
Database mysql 5.5.34-32.0-log

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the script is trying to create a directory or to save the image or its thumbnails with incorrect permissions? Most suexec environments require 644 for files and 755 for folders.
