Separate MODx installs on same server retrieving each others' resources

Hi & thanks. I have a couple MODx 2.2.10(adv) installs on one shared hosting account, each linked to a different domain name, but when I log into one of the managers, it tries to load extensions from the other MODx install. The first domain name associated with the account points to /home/usr/public_html/. The second domain name was set up in CPanel (Addon Domains) and points to /home/usr/public_html/example.com/. Both core directories are /home/usr/core/ and /home/usr/example.com/core/. They have their own databases, and the websites served and article lists in the manager browser prove they are indeed connecting to their respective databases.

But I log into the MODx with no extras installed, and VersionX appears in the components menu as "versionx" and "versionx.menu_desc" - presumably failed lexicon lookups, and if I try to edit an article, I get the error:

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/usr/example.com/core/components/tinymce/tinymce.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/usr/example.com/core/cache/includes/elements/modplugin/1.include.cache.php on line 26

Ie, it is looking for an Extra installed in the first MODx, in /example.com/core/ directory of the second.

I have checked (many times) that config.inc.php points to the right directories. RewriteBase is correct in both folders, and the override .htaccess is present in both managers (which have different custom paths from their respective roots - ie, /public_html/example.com/example-mngr/ and /public_html/default-domain-mngr/). I have manually deleted the cache directories. It is example.com/example-mngr/ that is trying to retrieve extras only installed in the default domain. I have also checked that config.inc.php in the root, connector and manager directories point to the correct /home/usr/example.com/core/ directory (I did an in-situ setup so this was all automatic). The modx config key is the default "config" in both installs, but I can't see how any crosstalk is possibly happening. Something to do with PHP sessions? I sometimes get a session expired error immediately after logging into the MODx manager.

Any ideas please?

Double-check your three config.core.php files, one in the installation's root, one in /manager/ and one in /connectors/.

I did thanks, they're all fine, but it must have been a setting somewhere as deleting everything and reinstalling to an empty database has fixed the issue (literally seconds ago).
