ModX Redirector not working - how to 301?

I am having a great deal of trouble getting 301 redirects to work in Revo 2.2.10. I have installed the Redirector plugin and have set it up, but I still get 404s.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to setup simple redirects?

Thanks!
