Help! Referencing site settings such as site_name in templates kills site

    Hello friends,

    I just updated a site from 1.0.10 to 1.0.12.

    The installation went fine in upgrade mode, however post upgrade any reference in my templates to a site setting (e.g. 
    [(site_name)]
    ) seems to stop the MODX parser dead in it's tracks, not outputting my *content or anything else that isn't a part of the static template. Removing references to site_name and site_url in my template fixes the problem.

    I tried re-installing 1.0.12 again and the same thing happens. I'm on a linux box (shared hosting) and everything has been fine prior to upgrade. Any thoughts?
