The best way to handle this would be to put your form's "special action" in a post-hook snippet.

Thanks Susan, I'll have to try that idea. Of course, this looks like it will need someone who knows PHP and can write snippets. If so, I'll have to hire this out. . .
You could also just add some JQuery validation to your form in the browser, while not as secure as back-end validation it would at least require some effort to "hack" the form.
