Exciting Extras for managing container and child resources

Just wanted to highlight 2 brilliant new Extras that are in development and currently available in the Package Manager.

Collections and Grid Class Key are two new container types for MODX resources.

If you've ever had a Resource Container with lots of child Resources, you'll know how quickly you cna develop a large MODX tree that can be quite difficult to manage and navigate. Both these Extras help solve that by firstly hiding child resources and secondly by presenting them in a manageable grid (kind of like Artciles).

Some of you might not be aware of these as they're quite new. They're very exciting and something I had been wishing for but didn't think I'd see until MODX3. Enjoy!
BTW I am just highlighting them...can take no credit. Please post any feedback / bugs etc to the Authors page on GIT.

Ok, well I thought they were exciting anyway

Well, this is nice, if not exactly "exciting"... MIGXdb has been offering similar functionality for a while now, either as a TV grid or a CMP.

Sure. I'm a recent convert to MIGX and love it. Actually, it was your own posts further back in the archives that had me up and running with it

But both methods above are more client-friendly from a setup point of view. I'd never ask a client to create a JSON array etc etc whereas I could ask them to right-click on a Resource and set it as a Collection or Grid Class Key.

Hm. Yes, I do see where these would be especially useful for handling certain types of resources where one doesn't want to go the hassle of using contexts. Documentation .pdf files and software downloads (using binary Static Resources) for a given product, for example. Yet they're still all easily accessible to Wayfinder or getResources (or pdoTools) for generating lists.

This plugin is which i need in my project thanks for your contribution
