I have strange problem while completing modx project, For Some reasons i don't know the child resources of parent are not visible in tree in Dashboard. And also i am not able to flush the session from the dashboard.

    Modx info
    -> MODX Revolution 2.2.10-pl (traditional)
-> Packages which i have used CKEditor, FirstChildRedirect, FormIt, getResourceField, getResources ,Wayfinder

-> Have clear cache from database and dashboard both side.

-> Have checked the column show_in_tree value 1 in database

Make sure the resources have a valid parent (and their parent has a valid parent or 0).

SiteCheck would check them all for you, but you can check them yourself in the DB with PhpMyAdmin.

        Thanx for reply
I have checked it in DB PhpMyAdmin, there is no problem there !
        Means correct parent
Is this any limit for child resources in parent in modx tree?

No, there's no limit. If the class_key is Article (look in the modx_site_content table), though, there's an extra field in another table that determines whether they show in the tree.

Understand what you mean but there is no class_key has value Article, modx_site_content table contain all the fields with modDocument value in class_key column.
surprise what happened in my case.

The only other thing I can think of is that the resources have an invalid template field.

Turning off the compress_css and compress_js System Settings is something else to try. Also, try deleting all files in the core/cache directory manually.

Clearing the browser cache and cookies might also help if you've upgraded MODX recently.

There are some plugins that hide resources in the tree. Make sure your don't have one of them running.

Have list out all the plugin which i have used in my project in first comment,

Have checked all the template variable they have valid template field assign to resource,

Also try to make compress_css and compress_js off,

Deleted all cache manually, cleared browser cache, All things which you mention are done .

But unfortunately i don't get the solution of my issue.

                1) Visibility hidden of child resources modx tree -> I am using alternative solution given by sottwell
You may see here : https://forums.modx.com/thread/88242/not-able-to-see-the-child-resources-in-modx-tree#dis-post-485638
But its working for me but it seem not proper !!

                2) flush_sessions_not_supported --> This make me so confusing why it occurred while i go through the security -> Flush all session

Thank you for your continuous reply it is very helpful to me to get more and more ways to solve any problem

I was suggesting that the template field of the resources (nothing to do with TVS) was the ID of a non-existent resource.

Is this your exact error message: flush_sessions_not_supported ? If so, I don't think it's coming from MODX.

I have just had the same issue, and it is in fact an error message comming from MODX, you can find it in core/model/modx/processors/security/flush.class.php on line 20:

                    https://github.com/modxcms/revolution/blob/develop/core/model/modx/processors/security/flush.class.php

as you can see it happens when the system setting "session_handler_class" is not set to "modSessionHandler"

                    to fix this:

                    1. go to your MODX Manager
                    2. Navigate to System -> System Settings
                    3. search for "session_handler_class"
                    4. right click and select "Update Setting"
                    5. input "modSessionHandler" into the Value field (without the quotations)
                    6. Save the setting
7 You are now able to flush all sessions.
