Hi ModX team, (or Bob)
I've been looking at getting the current official book on offer, and I was just wondering if there were plans to release a version 2 or it/revised edition? If required?
I know Smashing Magazine ( and many others) release printed editions and also a PDF to go with their publications. Are there plans for an e-book (PDF) edition of the Official book?
Cheers,
Steve

The e-book is in the works right now (I should be working on it instead of answering you
). It contains *many* updates.
There are no plans, to release an updated treeware version any time soon.

Thanks Bob. I love the idea. Let me know how you go (when it's finished). Cheers, Steve

I am new to modx (great cms!), and would like to dive deeper in the documentation to be able to develop more websites. Do you think the hard copy of the book is still accurate enough for the current version of revolution?

The eBook is available now, but some people want to hold things in their hands.
The Paper book contains a few errors (listed
here). Both books are inaccurate with respect to the organization of the Manager, but you should still be able to find things and they should still give you a good introduction to MODX Revolution.
The eBook has some extra sections covering features added after the paper book was released, but they're not critical for understanding basic operations in MODX.

Very useful book to have, especially having a searchable etext. Use it in conjunction with the forums and online
https://docs.modx.com/revolution/2.x/. Look forward to an updated version.
