Which Permissions for TV input type "Image"?

Can one of the MODX-Team tell which Permissions of the Access Policy are necessary for the TV input type "Image"? One of our editors is not able to make change of an image-TV and when he clicks on the save-button the image will be erased which was chosen by a user before. I already tried giving him several permissions but they all didn´t work.

i don't think there is a custom value that would have to be set for image tv...

i think the problem is somewhere else in the list of rights...

This could be permissions on the Media sources ?
When you look at the TV, is there a "media sources" tab ?

The default content editors template I believe doesn't have access to TVs which is why he cannot make changes if you're using the content editors access policy.

You need to duplicate the Content Editor Policy and create a custom one with TV access so they can edit any TVs on the site.

Thanks for your answer. I just checked whicht rights are already set. These are:

sources - To manage Media Sources and Media Source Types.

source_delete - To delete a Media Source.
 
source_edit - To edit a Media Source.
 
source_save - To create or save a Media Source.
 
source_view - To view and list Media Sources.

view_tv - To view any Template Variables.

edit_tv - To edit any Template Variables.

save_tv - To save any Template Variables.

Unfortunately this is not enough to edit a value of an image TV.

Does anybody have an idea whicht right is necessary for this?

if you want to try with my policy, it is attached here. Exported from a revo 2.2.8, but i think it doesn't matter.

Thanks a lot. It seems like you allowed almost everything. Anyway do you have any idea which value could be responsible for allowing image-tvs to edit?

great.

yeah i allowed a lot of things, need maybe to disable some options, yeah

anyway, i did not check what could allow or not to modify tv's...

there is only 3 values with tv that are checked : view, edit, save.

but maybe your rule policy was corrupted or something like that?! and by creating a new policy it is now working ?

Not really. I don´t want to giv all permissions to all persons. Therefore it ist just ok for the moment until I figured out what permissions are needed to edit the values of an image-tv.

Ok, I finally got the trick: You have to go to Security -> Access Controls -> Right Click on the User Group you want to choose -> Update User Group -> Media Source Access -> Add Media Source -> Filesystem ... choose "Media Source User" or "Media Source Admin"

That´s it. Very complicated to find but finally it works ...
