    Hi All,

We have been trying to do a fresh install of Articles 1.7.5pl on several servers. After installation there is no possibilitie to create a new Articles node.
The installation procedure concludes with 'Successfully installed package articles-1.7.5-pl' but seems to error a lot on Quip (?)
We tried this on a clean and fresh install of modx2.2.10 no luck.
    Anyone else having this problem?

Did you force reload the Manager? The Articles context menu item will not show until the Manager has been reloaded. Let me know if this is not the case for you.

        Hi Jay,
Yea we cleared all possible caches, reloaded the browser and crossed our fingers...nothing.
We uninstalled all extras, removed entries from table 'transport_packages', deleted all files form core>packages and core>components and assets>components.
        We then re-installed:
        we got error
xPDOVehicle validator failed: type php (/home/modx/domains/www.ourdomain.nl/public_html/core/packages/articles-1.7.5-pl/xPDOTransportVehicle/83eb199c24d7c063c54c5da8cd480480.validate.getpage.validator)

The result is when we right-click on the tree we don't see the 'create new Articles here' in the context menu. So i don't have a good way of checking what has been installed and what isn't most files seem to be in place.
we get this on several servers (a linux server , a WAMP and a XAMP)
        any ideas??

Not sure. Articles has been notorious for errors on install so I always disregarded them. I'll get @dinocorn pointed at this thread to see if he knows what's up.
