Modx and SugarCRM CE integration

Hi,

I'm looking for at way to create a resource in Modx (newest version) then a campaign is created in SugarCRM CE 6.5.x.

My own idea was to use FormIt2DB or alike. I'm not strong in coding, but quite familiar with customization...

Any hints, examples or good advices is highly appreciated.

Does the resource need to be created in the front-end?

The resource shall preferable be a document - or a template variable in a document - but nearly anything we can get hold off and make into content in a document one way or the other will do better than creating the same content in two systems.

Ah, no - fine with manager users, no need for front-end editing...

You would write a plugin using that event to populate your SugarCRM database (or trigger its API or whatever you need to do to create the new campaign).

Actually it's best the other way around - that a new campaign trigger creating a resource in Modx - since it's the crm that holds the native info,not Modx
