Change storage engine to InnoDB in modx table?

May I change the storage engine from myISAM to InnoDB in a modx table such as web_users without problems?
The thing is I thought of using Cascade delete constraints on tables that use the user id to ease the delete process,
and if I am correct I need to change the storage engine for this to work.
