Answered Menu Items text not changing along with Page title change

    Hello,

    I inherited a ModX website for our agency, but I really have no experience with ModX specifically.

    One of our programs changed names, so I edited the page and title. The page name appears as it should in the content manager, but on the webpage, the menu item for that page is still the old title.

    Any way I can force this update, or is it possible that the title is not being pulled from the title of the page?

    The page is hosted on Hostmonster, is ModX Evolution 1.0.2 Rev 6066.

      Menus are usually built using the "menutitle" field.

        Thanks for the prompt response.

        Unfortunately, adding the name to the MenuTitle field didn't change it. It might be noteworthy that all menutitle fields for these pages are empty, so I am guessing that isn't where the title is pulled from.

          Can you please post here the code how you generate the menu? I might be more helpful when I see it smiley

            Unfortunately, I have no idea how it is generated. I just manage the content.

            Any idea where I could start looking?

                The menu is an image based menu, so no amount of changing anything in the manger will affect the titles of the menu.

                So unless you can modify those images your out of luck im afraid.

                      Actually, I may have spoken too quickly.

                      The menu in question is on the Services Page, in the Community Services section of the menu.



                      Viewing the source on the generated page, it looks like it is just a list.
