    Hello,

I have a problem whereby I have created a user login as a content editor, and given them all the permissions to upload files, edit, delete, the works. But when I log in as the user, and try to upload a file in the Files tab, it keeps saying access denied.

I've created a Content Editor user group with a new user. Have created a new Media Source and set the base URL to the relevant directory, set the permissions so that the new user group can access that (and nothing else). Can't see what I'm doing wrong.

I followed this video instructions, and have done everything he has. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKdBvhmZtIw

I've been careful to clear cache and flush all sessions after making permissions changes.

    Any ideas?

    Many Thanks.

*Bump* I'm having the same issue, but for some reason when I login as them I can upload. This is very strange...

This issue is now resolved, and I think I solved it by making sure that the user role was added to the media source. Previously only my admin role had access to the new folder. When I added the user role I created, they could then add files.
