    Hello!

I decided to try mod x rev. Of course, I started on installation step. I made everything by instruction. After the message "Successful installation" I pressed the button "Enter" and saw error:

    503 Error
    Page not found
The page you requested was not found.

May anybody help me with that?

    Thanks in advance.

Can you tell us where and how you are installing this? On a shared hosting, local machine, or ? Information would be appreciated and what version you are trying to install.

        Sorry, of course.

On local machine by MAMP PRO. I tried different version: 2.2.8, 2.2.1...

What is the URL it is trying to access?

In my MAMP installation, I have several MODx installations in their own subdirectories. So my URLs look like this (localhost works just as well as my router-assigned IP address):
          http://10.0.0.2/revo228/setup/index.php?action=<action>

I've been using MAMP for several years, and never had a problem with any MODx installations, but I've never used MAMP Pro.

Actually, I have problem with this link:

            http://localhost:8888/manager/

Ah. I've never used the MAMP-default port, I always switch MAMP to use the default HTTP port (80). Can you access the Manger with just http://localhost/manager/?

Is your installation in a proper virtual host? I've never bothered to set one of those up, I just use subdirectories.

Do you have any default .htaccess files active in the web root?

I changed to the default HTTP port (80) and had the same error.

If your installation is in a subdirectory, then http://localhost:8888/manager/ is definitely wrong... it needs to be http://localhost:8888/subdir/manager/

No, http://localhost:8888/manager/ is right way, because I changed directory in MAMP settings.
