There is no official tool to upgrade from Evo to Revo and there never will be.
Officially, Evo & Revo will be made redundant when "MODX 3" arrives.
But according to MODX LLC, there will be an upgrade tool for both Evo & Revo to MODX 3.
Whether or not this actually happens is a different matter.

Well the only way in this situation is to upgrade modx 0.9.6 to evo and then in future to MODX 3, right?

At the moment Evo is being further developed by a group of talented developers from the community, but its future is bleak unless the community developers do a lot of work on it to keep it up to date with PHP5.5 (MySQLi)
Evo is not being developed further by MODX LLC - only the community developers are working on it.
Revo is still being developed by MODX LLC
MODX 3, so far as I know, hasn't been started yet, or at least it's not available yet.
The choice is yours - you are not the only one in this predicament - not knowing what is actually happening with MODX in the future is becoming a pain for a lot of people using both systems.
