CMP - refresh mulitple tabs

I am building a simple client management CMP to track time on client contracts. There are three tabs - 'Client', 'Contact' and 'Jobs'.

Each 'Job' is associated with a 'Contract' and a 'Contract' can have multiple jobs. As time is charged to a job the balance remaining on the contract is reduced.

When I update the 'Hours Worked' for a 'Job', in the 'Job' tab, I also update the 'Balance' in the 'Contract' tab. The backend code works all the database fields are update and the 'Job' tab refreshed to show the new values with a simple listener that I got from the tutorials.



The problem is I need the 'Contract' tab to refresh to show the new 'Balance'. The 'Contract' tab is 'ClientManager.grid.Contracts'.

Is there any way to refresh that from the listener in the 'Jobs' tab?

you can try to get the grid-object by id and fire its refresh-method.
