Custom cache class location

Hi,

Where should I create my own caching class (as an alternative to apc/memcache etc) ideally being able to use a build / transport script would be fantastic.

Some more information on this issue.

It looks like the getCacheProvider locks down the loadClass function to only the xpdo folder. Am I able to create a package that would place a file into this folder? or possibly break out of the folder check to allow our own registered class to run?

If you add a package containing your class to extension_packages, it should be able to load it. The call to loadClass() does not ignore loaded packages.
