    Hi all,

I had my Modx site running beautifully until over the weekend when my data center migrated all of its clients to a new data center. Now when I try to access my website I get the following error:

    « MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
    « PHP Parse Error »

    PHP error debug
Error: fopen() [function.fopen]: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Temporary failure in name resolution
      Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
      File: 	/var/www/vhosts/247atx.com/httpdocs/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(766) : eval()'d code
      Line: 52

    Parser timing
      MySQL: 0.0026 s	(8 Requests)
      PHP: 40.1083 s
      Total: 40.1108 s

I can ping the server just fine, I can even access MODx’s manager and log into it and see all my site documents just fine. But when trying to access any of the site’s pages like you typically would in your browser you get that message. If you’d like to try for yourself my site’s URL is : http://www.247atx.com

It will take about 30 seconds of load time before that message is returned. Any MODx gurus here who can help end my suffering? Any help will be appreciated, thanks!!

I guess you changed path infos in the MODx site config ?

I checked the response header, which return a 200 OK as it should.

Since there is a message "Temporary failure in name resolution", I checked DNS record for the domain :
      NS1.ABAC.COM
      NS2.ABAC.COM

And I get the following IP for the domain : 69.64.84.114

I am inclined to thing it’s some kind of path issue. When you migrated to a new datacenter, was PHP upgraded (I see you’re running 5.1.6) ?

And, by the way, which version of MODx do you use ?

First, login the manager and clear your cache. Once that is done, and if if fails, you might have good luck by updating the install by re-running the installer in upgrade mode.
