Answered Change Media Source for resources in Resource Group

Hi all,

I would like to create some download pages behind a password. So I created a Resource Group, User Group, User, and (secure) Media Source. I linked them all together and everything is working fine except the Media Source.

I would like that Media Source act as default when editing resources in this Resource Group. So if you add a file it will be saved into this media source instead of the general default.

Do you know how to secure a Media Source for public access? I've created a Media Source, with access permissions to a certain user group. However the files are still available in the frontend for a regular visitor. I suspect that this tab (Access Control) only controls the access in the backend?

you can limit access to your TV, in Front-end or back-end but of your TV not your Media Source. take a look how to Change permission on TV
