After update problem with safe_mode on, client cant upload anything

Hi everbody

after the update to 1.12 (I guess previous installed was 1.7) my client cant upload picture, or pdfs inside the tiny any more.
When trying to insert a picture or whatever within the tinymce, clicking on the "search for" field, the error is:

In the filemanager i can upload files, but there is no way to get them into the document

The provider has the safe_mode on, which hasn't been a problem until now. We are planning to move all the clients stuff, and make the switch to revolution, but right now, I need to get this working.

As of PHP 5.4 Register globals, magic quotes and safe mode were removed! If your host won't let you turn them off in a php.ini or htaccess setting, don't hesitate changing your host!!
